A UX designer with a twist – I started my journey in the world of graphic design, where I discovered my passion for aesthetics. However, I felt a void when it came to web design and decided to embark on a self-taught journey into the world of websites. My freelancing days were a mix of branding and web design, but it was when I joined the Volcanic team five years ago that I found my true calling – product design.

Originally from Spain, I've made the UK my home for the last 4 years. Outside of the design world, you will find me spending time on hobbies such as embroidery.
However, since our furry companion arrived, my attention has been primarily focused on our four-legged friend.
I'm an avid reader, with a soft spot for thrilling mysteries à la Agatha Christie, although I'm also venturing into the realm of fantasy books.
My ideal evening involves curling up with a coffee under a warm blanket and diving into a gripping TV show (although, let's be honest, the show quality can vary!).

My path initially led me towards the visual side of things (UI), but as I went deeper into UX and took courses to enhance my skills, I realised that my true fascination lay in the art of crafting meaningful user experiences.

Professional Journey
Over the past five years at Volcanic, I've had the privilege of contributing to over 150 projects, working with a wide variety of clients and companies in the UK, Spain and the US; including Kingfisher, Softonic, various City Councils and Round.
Design Philosophy
While design is undoubtedly important, I firmly believe that the ultimate goal is a functional, working product. Functionality beats aesthetics.
